Support Groups

Support Groups: Inner Being Health offers Women a variety of avenues to build her community; through on-line short ‘pick-me-up’ invited zoom meetings;  specialized & closed  face to face numbered group sessions; or 1x monthly face to face open groups located in the Dallas, TX area.  Groups are focused on body-mind integration and educational formats; Expressive arts such as Psychodrama, Yoga, Dancing Mindfulness and Journaling are most often included.

1x monthly: Support Groups are called:  IMPROMPTU THEATER:  YamaDramaYoga.  These groups are for we Women to find clarity in our living and thinking. To embrace her powerful gifts and to use the tools of community, to foster inner strength and wisdom.     They are loosely based on some of the Limbs of Yoga.   Ethical ideas such as:  no harm, no stealing, tell the truth, don’t attach too much and take the middle road. Groups run between 2.5 and 3 hours long on Sunday late afternoon.  There is a small donated fee for the groups- $10

ON-Line Zoom groups:  These are experimental and experiential.  Brief psycho-educational theme, meditation and therapeutic yoga skill building,  brief non-specific sharing at end.   Session approximately 30 minutes long.   Please contact: to inquire about getting a zoom link.

TUESDAY Evenings: 6:30-8:30pm  Living Tarot- Embodied Stories.- 4 week series

Use your imagination, confer with partners, and create a container for your growth and playfulness.   These classes are based on the themes of the Tarot – a spiritual growth journey encompassing:  parental guidance, inner strengths & resources, relationships with others and parts of yourself, decisions,  decisions, decisions;  releasing old ideas, and embracing a new story.   Each month has a theme:   group participation, active storytelling, future projections, facilitating your imagination, and ‘download’ information from the cosmos.

$100 per 4 consecutive sessions * Insurance may apply.   Skill building: boundaries, communication, visualization, somatic resonance, expanded role training. Be More of who you are!

Thursday Evenings: Yoga Support Group ( 7:00-8:00 pm):   ( on hold )

Therapeutically designed to assist in stress reduction, body awareness, and self-study.   Body-Consciousness Yoga, Mindfully moving into Asana, we celebrate exploring body sensations and meaning.   In themed sessions, clients explore different postures and their connection to past/present and future influences of personal stories.  Restorative, Slow Flow, Meditation, and Trauma oriented.

Therapeutic Yoga is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the philosophy and practice of Yoga- International Association of Yoga Therapists. (IAYT). Research supports the use of Yoga methods to increase GABA and other neurotransmitters to reduce the effects of Trauma, Depression, and Anxiety.  $20 per session medical savings plan/ flexible spending can apply      

Wednesdays (11:30am – 1:30 pm) Mosaic Women’s  Activated Support Group: 

Exploring skills and practices to reduce stress and anxiety through Movement, Journaling, Drama, and Education.  Expressive therapies help to explore subtle realities of sensation, thought, and reactions, as well as build skills.   These practices, give you tools to manage stuck emotions,  worry, and fears.  We operate out of habits from programs of the mind… recurring actions that get you to the same place… which have stopped working in the present.
